La cobleta de la Selva
In 1995, Mirna and Xavi Múrcia found “La Cobleta de la Selva” looking for the deep passion of the Catalan popular chant. “La Cobleta de la Selva” made a severe and energetic treatment of various musical genres including poems from the Catalan music. The purpose of that was to draw the best of its interests: the strength, the beauty and most of it, the power of communication that music has. “La Cobleta de la Selva put on more than 300 concerts in various musical environments: traditional music, antique music, new music and music from around the world. “La Cobleta de la Selva” recorded one CD: “Cançons d’aquell temps” (Songs from old times, Actual Records 1998).
