Perepau Jiménez
Perepau was the founder of the mythical folk band “Clau de Lluna”. He has grown with the art of the button accordion linked to several projects, collaborating with maestro Marcel Casellas, the guitar Toni Xuclà, the composer of glosas Francesc Tomàs “Pantxito”, the tenor Jordi Molina, the double-bass Pep Coca, the composer Paco Viciana, the Roussillon songwriter Maties Mazarico, the poet-performer Noel Tatú…
His peculiarity to provide with more versatility the contemporary diatonic, it has given him the opportunity to enjoy playing his accordion with the most popular singers from our country such as: Roger Mas, Miquel Gil, Lídia Pujol, Cris Juanico, Ramon Manent, Josep Aparicio ‘Apa’, Mariona Font, Catalina Moll, Eva Trullàs, Carles Juste ‘Betoven’, Valérie Malet, Laura Plasència…
Since 1995, he is a professor at the “Aula de Música Tradicional i Popular” in Girona. At present, he also participates playing the button accordion in the new project of the singer Mirna: he has participated recording her CD and he is a musical band member in her concerts.
