Pere Olivé Aymerich
Pere obtains the professional diplomas specialized in violin and classical and contemporary percussion. He graduates from the Conservatory of Professional Music of Vila-seca (Tarragona). Since he was very young, he becomes interested for the traditional percussion. He has recorded several cd’s of music for shawm players with So Nat, shawm players of Tarragona and Ganxets and shawm players of the Baix Camp. Since 2008, he works with the singer Mirna with whom has recorded this CD and he is preparing the live concerts. On the other hand, Pere has worked the ancient percussions and the Mediterranean one too with Pedro Estevan, Andrea Piccioni, Michael Metzler, Mauricio Molina, Scott Robinson i Glen Velez, At present, he combines the superior studies of historical percussion in the ESMuC with the teaching of percussion instruments at the Municipal School of Music of Tarragona and in the Popular and Traditional Classroom of Music of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
In the field of the ancient music, he is part of the groups: Vespres of Arnadí and Stella Splendens and he has collaborated with formations such as: Al Ayre español, Les Sacqueboutiers de Tolousse, Hespérion XXI and Le Concert de Nations (Jordi Savall).
