I am Mirna, and in other’s people words, I’m telling you all the things I wish to say. How wonderful it is that someone has put words on my thoughts! What a joy it is to sing the poet’s word! I really love everything I sing.

Maria-Mercè Marçal, Montserrat Abelló, Mercè Rodoreda, Hermínia Mas, Joan Vinyoli, Vicent Andrés Estellés, Miquel Martí i Pol i Joan Salvat-Papasseit have found the words to come across at the face of love, desire, struggle , commitment...I have looked at their eyes and I have offered them all my heart.

What about music? How much I love music, this music that I can feel through my insides, my skin, this music that connects me with my homeland that smells of sea, Mediterranean music. This music is made from a new cut, to blend in the poet word and the traditional musical pattern, music composed by my beloved husband, Xavi Murcia and musical arrangements made by Marcel Cassellas, a great and dear friend too, music that it is surrounded by the variety of tones, full of colours and nuances of the rich orchestration from the Mediterranean.

I’m Mirna and I like to sing, I really do......The work that I’m offering you is the result of my great love for the poetry and the Mediterranean music. It is a work made and sung with emotion, affection and energy. I had an excellent time making this record. This is something that nobody can take away from me!
